It covers the urethra by creating a smooth layer between the mucous membrane of the urethra and the catheter or other medical tool for which the use of this gel will be deemed necessary.
Konix Sterile Catheter Jelly, with lidocaine, is used before testing to soothe pain caused by urethra irritation. In addition, it offers a painless and painless catheterization due to its status as anesthetic.
